
Besides introducing the Marathon M5 Plus, Gionee also announced the M5 Enjoy in China. The smartphone also packs a massive 5000mAh battery and is equipped with fingerprint sensor that is embedded into the home button, that promises recognition time of just 0.5 seconds.
The Gionee M5 Enjoy features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D arc glass and is powered by an 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo OS 3.1 on top.
For imaging there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording. Front facing camera is 5-megapixel. Connectivity features include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It sports metal body, measures 9mm around the waist and weighs 200g.
The Gionee M5 Enjoy is priced at CNY 1999 ($310 | Rs. 20,500) and is now available for order via official Gionee Online store in China. It comes in Golden color and goes on sale from December 25.
