The Xiaomi Mi 4 owners are in for a treat. Just yesterday the Mi 4 LTE got the Windows 10 Mobile ROM and now Xiaomi has confirmed that it will roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Mi 4 along with the Mi Note soon.
These two will be Xiaomis first phones in line to be treated to the latest Android update. The news was shared by Xiaomis MIUI Operations Manager via a Weibo post.
He also stated that a closed beta would be made available initially, followed by a wider roll out. Reports suggest that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update wont bring a new MIUI ROM, but instead it will update the existing MIUI 7 ROM, which was announced in August this year and is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
There is no word on the official changelog, however the update should bring all new Android Marshmallow enhancements along with Xiaomis MIUI features.
